From BBQ guru. Or with the 12 volt cig adapter you can use any rechargeable car starting power pack with a 12 volt plug built into it.
Like these...

+1 what Darian said though the one I use was far cheaper - I think like $40 from WallyWorld.
One hint though when you buy the adapter - it should be a universal one with optional polarity ends to match your Guru. I bought mine at Radio Shack.

Since you asked for a power pack, I suspect you are looking for a Li-Ion battery pack. I don't know what the power requirement of the Bubba Guru is, but here are two online options that cover three different capacities:

I wonder how many hours the Flame Boss pack will last at a fan rate of 20% - 30% average usage. It appears to be similar to ones on Amazon. The FB battery pack is 4500mAh. I was wondering if it made sense to go up a size or two. Here's one that is 6000mAh for about the same price.Photo Egg said:

MichaelCollins I'd like to know also.
With the 6000mAh pack from Amazon, you'd have to purchase a short male-to-male extension. Or, use the two male ends on the provided cord and tape up the female end. Their website hides the warranty info ... looks like you have to call them.

I have the same question. Is a 4500mah battery sufficient to power the computer and fan for a 10-15 hour cook?Ragtop99 said:

Oops lost the first part of my post above ... try again.
@MichaelCollins ... Sorry to bother you, but do you know who long the Flameboss battery pack will last with the fan running 20 to 30% of the time? See discussion above.

And how much additional drain does the wifi add?Jeepster47 said:Oops lost the first part of my post above ... try again.

Hi, there are so many variables that it is hard to predict how long the battery will last for a cook. I cooked more than 18 hours on a charge in the summer with a Boston butt. The main variables that will come into play is outside temperature, amount of meat and/or liquid if you pour liquid into a drip pan. This was before WiFi. Battery consumption for WiFi is significant, probably about 20-25% decrease in cook time.
