Whole (Choice) Tenderloin $9.99/lb @ Costco (YMMV)

Was at the local Costco this morning for some chops and heard the butchers talking excitedly about something. Then one turns to me and says that he just called management to confirm that it wasn't a price mistake. Apparently, the first time they've ever had it so low.
Normally $17-20/lb now $9.99/lb. Thought they might be old or something, but nope, they were putting out new ones. Now I need to figure out what to do with a 6lb tenderloin.

Are those the trimmed ones? The whole ones at my Costco are 11.99/lb, 16.99/lb for trimmed, and 17.69/lb for Prime whole.

Which one is choice again? AA or AAA? Any way you look at it that is a great price considering the recent beef pricing. Worth making a s__tload of tatare and freezing it.
