Some simple applewood smoked brats are currently finishing up in a hot tub of pineapple and beer. Smells heavenly!

LOL Thx guys. My wife also made a great Asiago Bisque inside in one of our new CI pots. Some sorta Pinterest recipe, which was awesome. I'll hafta get her to show me where she got it.
I also tried out this new to me mustard that someone local is making in the lowcountry of SC. It's getting rave reviews locally. My MIL gave it to me for Christmas. It is delicious. A touch of spicy with the nutty flavor of sesame shining through. Went really well on the brat.

To be honest, I didn't notice too much of a difference... I had a beer to wash it down, plus the Korean mustard may have masked me noticing a flavor difference. However, my wife just had yellow mustard on hers, along with just water. She said she noticed a nice sweetness, which she liked. So it must've done something. I used the pineapple core, which was just sitting there all alone in the fridge. Made sense.DMW said:Nice brats! I've never added pineapple to my beer bath, will have to try that.
