Uncooked Ham Smoked?

I have purchased a uncooked ham from the grocery store this weekend and am really wanting to do an all day smoke/cook. Would like to have a maple but light taste of hickory or apple? Any idea on times of cook or temps, any advice is very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Sonny

Is this a "cured" or "uncured" leg of pork? What is the weight?LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

The ham is uncured, I'm at the office, but I'm thinking it weighed 8-10LBS.XL Egg - Husband - Father of 1 - Cleveland, TN - GO VOLS

An uncured ham is just a pork roast. I did a fresh one a few Christmases ago. 8 pounds I think. Took about 4 hours, dome 250-ish, till internal reached just over 160. Used apple wood. There was enough smoke to be pleasant, and the meat was still nice and moist, if a tiny bit tough in places. If you want to do a longer smoke, my guess is injection would be a good idea.

145/150 is a good temp. It will go higheras it rests, and much higher is tougher

Thanks for all the help, it turned out well! It was very similar too plain ole boston butt BBQ, but we did enjoy. I did a rosemary rub that wasn't my favorite, but other than that it was great!
