The problem with many of the questions about controllers is that folks don't have a experience with a broad range of controllers.  I have a DigiQ DXII and later moved to a Flameboss 200 unit.  My son started out with a Flameboss 100 and later moved to a Flameboss 200 unit.  So, guess which unit we're going to suggest.

The best advice is to contact @stlcharcoal via a PM and then call him with the phone number he shares.  Oh yes, ask him for price quotes also.  @pgprescott has some experience with these units, but he's a brick and mortar store only.  Good luck.

@nathanenderle any first impressions, if you've used it yet?

I bought the FB200 and used it last week to do some chicken breasts at 225. Not the ideal low and slow but I wanted to use it and was curious how chicken breasts would turn out if I did it this way.  The chicken turned out amazing and the FB200 was easy to set up and utilize.

I'm trying to decide between some pork belly (make my own bacon) or a brisket or prime rib here soon to really take advantage of it over time. It's still early but it's totally worth it to me (I am gadget kind of guy though too!).
