then you need to put this on your Christmas list.
cast iron skillet with ridges. I would have never thought to buy this, and was fortunate to get it as an early Christmas gift.
put some butter and garlic in the skillet, fired it up to 650-700 and had steaks on for 3 minutes each side for a total of 6 minutes. Putting both steaks between 131-138it
BUT WAIT! There's more... I made the vegetables and rice in the multi cooker. It's crazy fast, and good

@NPHuskerFL not sure what that has to do with this, but that's hilarious! Before he was too mainstream.

I've had one of those for years but rarely use it as it's just too much of a pain in the a$$ to clean.

Did you cook the whole steak in the grill pan? Or just get it raging hot and throw some marks on them?XL, Small, Mini & Mini Max Green Egg, Shirley Fab Trailer, 6 gal and 2.5 gal Cajun Fryers, BlueStar 60" Range, 48" Lonestar Grillz Santa Maria, Alto Shaam 1200s, Gozney Dome, Gateway 55g Drum

Generational gap perhaps. Shoes with ridges leave marks just like grill mark sans the 1/4 turn.
