Looking for Egg Carten for Mini

in EggHead Forum

Does anyone know if these carriers (Big Green Egg Carten) are still available anywhere or if there is a good alternative out there?  I'm not looking to build anything.

    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

    Saw a post here recently. Seems Scott is not making them anymore. I think all he has are Carten's for the small. Maybe someone else can chime in, in case I got anything wrong.

    I just bought a small Carten from Scott (got number 66). I also inquired about one for the Mini but he doesn't have any left. I'm not sure if he's making them anymore now that the Mini Max is in existence. He was absolutely a fantastic guy to deal with though. 
    L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....

    The Mini has a carrier ...similar to the Mini Max..makes the $200 carten extinct


    The Dude..a Mini and a Large Egg..a DigiQ DX (BGE Green)..some Cast Iron...a Thermapen.............and an Ol' Fashion

    I got one of the last Small cartens. I love that thing. I get tons of looks at Campgrounds when I sport that bad boy.

    Thanks everyone.  I had the opportunity to purchase a mini carten but the was overruled by the ball n chain.  I ordered a BGE mini carrier insteaad.  Thanks for the response.
