Congrats! First tip is don't use it inside

Ramp up to the temp you want slowly, let the smoke clean up, trust your dome temp (calibrate it), and have some fun.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

First tip is use up your bge charcoal, then branch out.. simply because the premium price point for their charcoal isn't worth the quality of the charcoal.

Be very careful wheeling the XL over seams in the concrete especially where two seams meet. Pull the egg, never push except for absolute final placement adjustment. Can't wait to see some food. Welcome aboard.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.
