    True. Tennessee played a few patsies but also played #2&3. We also played Florida and Georgia which was ranked at the time. 

    As Johnny Majors used to say..... If if and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a good Christmas.

    Does "ranked" have value now though?  It was said Michigan wasn't a real test anyway.  I'm really confused now.

    No argument here.  None of the mentioned teams are the one I pull for.  I'm just looking at what is said as to what is happening.  I have no dog in this fight.

    Tennessee played two probable tournament teams. No, ranking doesn't mean that much when sports writers and voters only look at points scored and wins. I'd rather see a tested team than a cream puff in the final 4...which should be the final 10..
