Just stopped at our local Kroger for a few things for tonight's pork loin cook. Was gonna get some fresh scallops as per ??? ( I'm on my damn iPhone so I Can't give proper credit). No fresh scallops but did have Pork Loins fo$0.99/lb.  only 4 left and only for a couple of days. 7-8.5 pounds.  Took em all. Never seen them that cheap. Resealed them in my brand new Foodsaver. That's another story. Freezer is full now. Need a bigger one. The Egg never ends!!!

I posted yesterday about pork loin on sale at Costco - they had a $10.00 off at the register and I ended up paying $0.69 a pound.

Cut half and made pork loin chops that I sealed and put in the freezer and the other half was on the egg this afternoon.

  • Doggone it. I meant to say Pork Shoulders( Boston Butts).  Too many libations celebrating my supposed good luck. I will have to have a few more to bring me back on keel after seeing your good fortune.

This is exhibit #1 why one should have a Foodsaver or similar machine. Mine has paid for itself a number of times already

I picked up some pork butts the other day for 99 cents.
Two whole for the freezer and two cut into pork steaks.

Got to love a deal on pork!
