Question on cooking time

been using a medium egg for some time. Recently upgraded to a large, I love it. My issue-i love cooking Boston butts. On the medium egg I have smoked a butt for as much as 16 hours, however on the large egg, same size butt, same egg temperature it is taking less than half the time to cook the butt to the same temp. I don't understand why the difference. Help!

It's the meat. Not the egg.1 XXL BGE, 1 LG BGE, 2 MED. BGE, 1 MINI BGE, 1 Peoria custom cooker Meat Monster.Clinton, Iowa

Could be the meat, I would also check the calibration on the thermometer.Go Gamecocks!!!

I'm using a DIGIQ so the themometer is not the problem. All three butts I have cooked on the large egg have taken less than half the time. Not complaining about the shorter time, just do not understand the difference. Guess it must be the meat as all else except the size of the egg is the same.
