Fair price for MBGE

Thinking about selling my MBGE and it has a new extra firebox, extra fire ring, nest, kick ash basket and plate setter. What seems like a fair value with the extras or should I sell the extras individually? I can get a new large for 571 and thinking about doing it. Wasn't sure if the KAB would be of any use in the large at all. Maybe to hold smaller amounts of lump when I don't need a full load.

My wife bought the XL for my birthday. I bought the Medium myself for $529 new. It came with the plate setter and grate lifter for that price. Just providing this for comparison purposes. For the few hundred you might get for it, you might think about having the Lg and Med combo. I sure love the XL-Med combo at my house and use both very often.
BTW, the wife bought my XL on sale for $800.

My mother in law got screwed...she paid 900 for MBGE, platesetter, nest and a bag of lump.

I have a medium BGE and KJ Classic, which is similar in size to the Large BGE. I like both. The KJ is good for larger cooks (or when I have all grills ablaze) and has the divide and conquer system which makes it easy to cook indirect and direct at the same time. However, the medium BGE is very fuel efficient and great for smaller cooks. I just received a half moon ceramic stone from the Ceramic Gill Store that fits the medium egg, which will add to its flexibility. My advice would be to go with both the large and medium egg for awhile and see whether you really want to dispose of the medium.

I have a L and MM and debating a Medium - don't be so quick to get rid of it.1 XL , 1 LBGE , 1MM a very tolerant hubby and 2 hungry teenage boys with a lot of friends. I Love playin' with charcoal and sippin' Bourbon in Fenton, MI. Live Large!

Rule of thumb you'll get about 50% of what was originally paid not including extra toys. But, when you're paying as much as most folks get LBGE with minor toys that's gonna be difficult. Especially when people sell them at $150 @tarheelmatt
I'm not so sure I'd get rid of it only because I hate losing $ LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -
Let's be fair here @NPHuskerFL , I did try to offer the guy less for it, but wouldn't take it.NPHuskerFL said:Rule of thumb you'll get about 50% of what was originally paid not including extra toys. I have a large medium and a small. Paid full suggested retail price for all three. (In all honesty my mother in law bought my large) Your mother in law didn't get screwed, just had to pay regular price. Once it's at the dealer BGE suggests prices but it's up to the dealer what to charge. And if you have an extra firebox and fire ring I'm guessing the warranty on the brand new egg has paid for itself by now.
Totally depends on what you are wanting to cook but for what you could sell it for I don't think you'd get the return to buy the large. Could be wrong.I raise my kids, cook and golf. Heck, I'll just say it. You are crazy for selling it. I just bout an XL to go with my medium. In the long run the Medium doesn't cost a dime to be there for back up.Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.
