No idea, but the metal straps over the dome to keep it from falling out is pretty clever.They/Them

I'd say the unit itself is not a BGE brand, but an old terra cotta cooker. OTOH the daisey, band, vent and nest do appear to be BGE.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

He claims it is a BGE. I thought the same about the metal straps. He cooked dinner for 61 of us tonight on it....the meat that is. I can't get past cooking dinner for 61 on that antiquated ceramic cooker with a cracked dome. #Amazing

"Antiquated ceramic cooker...." What does that mean? Has fire been updated or changed since cavemen used it to cook up a nice deer? Just because we cook on $1k+ BBQs doesn't make a bit of difference to the lump coal or the fire under the meat... LolMy opinions tend to be unbiased and sometimes spicy..

He said when it really falls apart he is going to pick up a modern BGE. I was referring to the condition of the dome. With the numerous cracks it looks like it could fall apart by just opening the dome.SATO7 said:"Antiquated ceramic cooker...." What does that mean?
