I'd say the unit itself is not a BGE brand, but an old terra cotta cooker. OTOH the daisey, band, vent and nest do appear to be BGE.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

He claims it is a BGE. I thought the same about the metal straps. He cooked dinner for 61 of us tonight on it....the meat that is. "Antiquated ceramic cooker...." What does that mean? Has fire been updated or changed since cavemen used it to cook up a nice deer? Just because we cook on $1k+ BBQs doesn't make a bit of difference to the lump coal or the fire under the meat... LolMy opinions tend to be unbiased and sometimes spicy..
