Pulled Beef

First attempt at pulled beef today, easy cook and came out delicious. I do believe I like it best mixed with a little sweet baby rays. Tried it on a sandwich as well with pepper jack, mayo, and horse radish. Definitely a do over!

Yes, chuck roast. Basically followed a recipe from the Wolfe Pit. Thanks for the compliments, means a lot when you're new in the game.

What temperature did you pull?

I really like pulled beef and the jalapeños make it even better. Nice!
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

@stompbox I didn't check the temp when I pulled. It was on a total of 7 hours. When it got to the point where it was shredding when I checked it with a fork I pulled it.Carrollton, Va

That looks good "Chief". Try it on a sandwich with sauteed onions and peppers with s a little motz cheese melted over the top. I will be in town on Nov 9th so you can cook up another one then.

There are all sorts of different variations with pulled beef. You can use coke, wine, even fruit juices as your braising liquid. Check out Cen Tex's post on how to make barbacoa. It's another winner!

Looks like you nailed it! This one is in pretty regular rotation in my house as well.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
