Few Recent Cooks

This is just a few recent cooks. Not even all of them. I've been terrible about taking pictures lately.

Recently got a Smokeware thermometer. I've now bent two of the BGE ones and this one was cheaper. So far I like it. Easier to read. Don't attach the clip to it. If you spin your thermometer to keep your temp at the 12 o'clock position, the clip will hold the stem and throw off your calibration. I noticed that when I pulled it out of the box.

Made pizza awhile back. Don't eat it too much anymore due to the carbs, but it was good. Yes...I realize that is tin foil. I found out we didn't have any parchment paper until it was too late. I tried to use cornmeal, but it stuck to the peel anyway.

Made some meatloaf using the 1770 House recipe. Good stuff, but not your normal recipe. No ketchup or bbq sauce topping. Didn't get a finished pic.

We don't ever do kabobs. Like its literally been over 3years years and three houses again, but that was what the Mrs wanted. It took me forever to locate any skewers and it ended up being 3 straight metal ones, one generic fire wire and a few wooden ones. I forgot how much I don't like to prep them and how they always spin when you try and flip them. But I do like the surface ratio on the meat.

Done
Well, that's about all I got from here. Hope everybody had a good weekend and got to fire up their eggs.
