New Toys what to do first

I've now had the large egg for 7 months and just picked up some new toys and excited to put them to use. Picked up a partyq, kick ash basket and smokeware cap. My first post on this forum is to ask you experts what should be the first cook with these new accessories?

Pork butt or ribs. Nice haul. A few of my favorite toys. What size is your egg?
-
Same favorite cook as before the toys. With seven months in you can do anything w/o the toys-they just enhance the journey. YMMV-
BTW-welcome aboard and enjoy the journey (toys or not)
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Hey welcome, you obviously have some good cooks under your belt by now. We'd love to see some picsLBGE - I like the hot stuff. The big dry San Joaquin Valley, Clovis, CA

Hey @theeggcellentchef, if you pair that Party Q with a dual probe remote thermometer you will be able to monitor your food bd pit temps while the party q does its thing. Easy and versitile. You can use the two pieces together or individually.

I have a large egg @pgprescott. @logchief I will get some pics on here soon. i was thinking about a brisket but all i have right now is a flat and continue to read and hear using a whole brisket is much better

Get a couple of bone in chicken breasts, oil up and.season with ur rub, and cook direct at 340. 45 minutes and it should be 165 internal!

Pics of what's been made so far. Pulled pork, Pizza

Good choices. Pork butt to leverage the PartyQ and pizza to create ash fast so you can test the kick ash basket. All you need to do now is wait for it to rain so you can cook something that will be protected by the Smokeware cap. Next up you need a R&B Adjustabe rig from CGS. Enjoy.XL BGE; Medium BGE; L BGE
