Couple of nice Hobart slicers on CL, QC

#512, I have this model, works great.  Thought about it for parts, just the knife alone from Hobart was $200.

#1612, another good deal.

Those are both great deals if one is looking for a slicer. I am lucky that I can use one at a certain establishment when I need it but these both look exactly like the one that I use.

Sounds good, from pics, can't go wrong with either one. I took a cheap chub of balogna from Save-A-Lot out with cash. Ran it at different settings, after slicing paper thin even slices I handed the cash over.  Then left the balogna to the guy for his dogs.

Just curious, because I have wanted a meat slicer for a while now, but was wondering what all do you use yours for?  My initial thought was for jerky and lunch meat.

What else can I do.  Just want to justify it in my head before I pull the trigger.

Sounds like a good deal on a Hobart on craigslist here as well.

Pit Beef!  A must have for that.  Although if you're not from the Baltimore, Md area you may have no idea what it is lol.  Check out Chaps pit beef on Google.  Considered the best there is
