Hi,

Is there a way to adjust the spring tension on the lid?  I've had my egg for about 5 years now and just recently the lid will not stay in the up position on its own.  Any advice?

Thanks,

springs do lose their tension - you might want to just replace them with ones rom your dealer. Yes you can buy springs at a hardware store but they are made for different tensions..."spring" for the proper ones!

Make sure your egg is level. I had mine on patio blocks on a sand base. The front of the egg settled a bit more than the back so the dome wouldn't  stay up. As soon as Ieveled it, it worked just fine.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
