Does anyone have any suggestions what dough to use to make pizza? Should I make my own dough or buy one from somewhere instead?

How do you'll suggest I cook it in the xl, and what temperature? I am thinking on putting the egg at 800 degrees.

@ferndchamp, pizza has been and remains a popular topic. Search pizza dough in the search tool and you will get a lot of great info! That said, home made is more fun. Depending on flour used will affect temp of the cook and time. Store bought works too when you don't have time/will to make the dough. Enjoy your pizza journey!Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga

800 is pretty warm. the crust needs to be thin, and not a lot of toppings. I might back it down to 600Columbus, Ohio--A Gasser filled with Matchlight and an Ugly Drum.

XL - plate setter LU, grid, 3 firebricks pizza stone. Start getting it hot 45 min to 1hr before you put a pie on it. The longer the better. I typically do mine between 6-650. Some dough recipes have you let it raise for 1.5hrs - start the egg, then make the dough, that way your are guaranteed to have everything inside up to temp.
