Yes, there is as slight curve on the front and back countertop as it followed the existing rock deck. My main concern was the measurement from the lower shelf to the countertop. I used 16" but after it was built I then found plans from the BGE site that specifies 15". I think that dimension was used when the used the old ceramic feet instead of the newer table nest, or maybe they just want a bit more clearance for wood tables. There is about 1/2" clearance using 16" top to top and for granite that's just about perfect.

Dang-what a set-up. Congrats on the build. Skill set is way beyond mine. And two LBGE's to play with...jack-pot.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
