Restaurant Depot - Fresno

Well it opens tomorrow and I have gotten my KCBS card but crap I'm still tied up on this wildland fire (Rough Fire) here, probably be at least a week before I can get over there.  I thought I was retired, I need to get back to my Egg

Do they carry prime packers, and the other thing I'm really looking for is the short rib plate (aka Brisket on a Stick)?

Wow I didn't know one was opening. I'll have to drive up and check it out. What's the process to get in?

  • All you need to get in is a KCBS card or any business license from any kind of business. I got my Restaurant Depot card with my electrical contractors license! The best part is they don't charge for membership and they carry royal oak lump. :)

@Ivanhoe if you don't have any kind of business license like me it's $35 to join KCBS, it took about a week to get my card after signing up on line.  Your membership gives you unlimited day passes to RD.

The restaurant depots I have been to (Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore) carry all types of beef ribs and they are marked correctly. There are beef back ribs, chuck short ribs, and Plate Ribs.  They also have boneless Chuck Short Ribs.  They carry packer cut briskets and flats.  They usually have them in Choice, select, and sometimes ungraded. I've never seen prime but they might have that just in case lots.

    Enjoy the shopping
