So this just happened. Opened a new bag of Royal Oak to find a Royal rock inside the bag. Anyone else ever have this issue? This thing is roughly 2"x2"x2".

Not uncommon at all. I probably find one every four to five bags of not a little more.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Every brand. It's like cracker jacks.

This is why I quit using Royal Oak

So they say. I use RO most of the time and don't recall EVER finding foreign objects. If I did, I'd just toss 'em in the trash.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

The only charcoal no one ever found a rock in are briquettes.

Found a dead song bird in a bag of RO about a year ago. It was dried up but its feathers, bones, beak, and skin were completely intact. Not worried about rocks. I find those in every bag.

If you save them and refill a bag, RO will send you one in return.Steven

If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard... -

One of the benefits of Royal Oak is finding the prize in the bag. It's the Cracker Jacks of lump. My last 5 bags were missing the prize. Their quality control is going downhill; no one throwing a rock into the lump!

I've found at least 4 or 5 rocks in the past few bags of RW I've gone through.

We rented our old house for 5 years and I used almost only RO. At the end of 5 yrs you could see the lump rocks on the hill where I always threw them.

I've used a lot of RO and less then the bags I've used I've found a rock. It's consistent. .burns great....found locally and great price. I don't hate.
