Pork shank on the egg?

Has anyone attempted to cook pork shank on the egg? Looking for ideas as I had an awesome pork shank recently at a restaurant. I need to get some new cooks into the mix.

No help on the shank. Man if you haven't
tried the pork collar, you should try it. Cook it whole, low and slow or cook them as you would a good steak. There is much joy here.

I've wanted to do German pig shanks, Schweinshaxe, I don't think the egg can get the skin crispy. The egg has a high maintenance method for thin chicken skin to be crispy, so I think you are better off in the oven for this thicker skin. Ps, I'm going to Munich tomorrow, opening weekend... Prosit! (or something!)
