The only way to get low temps is though a bbq guru or flame boss?

One of the things I like is it reacts quick when you're ready to sear. Pull food and open up the vents and you'll be at searing temps in a blink of an eye.Steven

Sounds good, I think I'm just going to buy a woo set up. I'm supposed to get the mini max tomorrow. Would u get the plate setter and have both the woo and plate setter.

I bought the woo/stone combo from the advice of forum members and love it. I wish I had the same setup for my large.Steven

+1 for just the woo/stone combo with drip pan. No need for plate setter. Temps come up quick on the mini max. Congrats on the purchase. You'll love it
