Last night's Frenched Cherry Jalapeño BBQ Chicken Legs. Found the sauce in BiLo yesterday. The bottle says it's made in Hilton Head. Good stuff!

Along with some of the Mrs.'s Mac n Cheese.

Looking good! I have tried that sauce and it is really good (assuming it is the same- Gourmet Warehouse from Hilton Head).
Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -

Dyal, man. Looks good. Now how do you cut them legs to look like lollipops? I guess I can Google it. Found it.

or this. I think I like this technique the best.
https://youtu.be/TTDUfuwZ87g Hey sorry Dyal for highjacking the thread. Just thought others may be asking how you did this.

Thx guys!! No worries @500 ! Here's what I do (try not to cringe while reading this...LOL!). I chop half the knob off the leg, shove the meat towards the base and snip off any exposed tendons with a pair of kitchen shears. The legs cook more evenly this way in my opinion. It's also cleaner to eat.

Nice!
How sweet was the sauce, and what did you think of the cherry flavor in it?#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
@caliking , it wasn't overly sweet or overly salty IMHO. Nice balance with a subtle Cherry flavor.
