61 CHEV,[p]I just did one that I saw on here.. Butterflyed the roast, added in some lobstertails, a little butter, tied it up, added my wifes current favorite rub, and cooked indirect for a hour at 350. Man was that thing good.

Master Mason,
Oh yea, next day I cut the left overs into steaks and seared rubed them down and seared them for 90 secs per side in a red hot skillet. Best left overs I have ever had.

61 CHEV,
chunk off some nice 2" filets... stuff them with bleu cheese or wrap them in bacon and do a bernaise sauce...[p]then keep the 2 or 3 pound roast from the fatter end as a chateaubriand for two.

fishlessman,
My dog was the same way until I took him off the Sam Adams. Since he has been drinking Miller Lite, he is much nicer!
Nice lookin chuck-o-meat!

61 CHEV,
here's a link to one i did stuffed with mushroom/pancetta and lobster tails. ...frankly, you could skip the lobster tails as the stuffing is so darned good. ..or make the stuffing mixture and serve it as a garnish over the tenderloin done per the link that ssn686 provided. .. [p]it is a great piece of meat, very forgiving as long as you don't over cook it. ...best served medium rare to medium at the most, anything beyond medium and it'l be dry as can be. . ..

BurntRaw,
I just about crp'd myself when I saw this creation. Having grown up in CT and eating reasonably priced lobster and then moving to the midwest and eating reasonably priced beef tenderloin - I cannot even imagine how wonderful this combination must be........and that's before you factor in cooking it on the egg!!!!
