The Lowly Hotdog

The Spouse asked for this tonight.  Not my favorite.

She like cheese, I like kraut.

Nice warm soft buns from the reheat.

This )(*&)(*&^*^&&^# website won't load pics right.

XXL #82 out of the first 100, XLGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to daughter 1.0) , MBGE (now in the hands of iloveagoodyoke daughter 2.0) and lots of toys

No, NOT lowly at all! We can not get decent hot dog buns here so I cut each bun into 2/3rds and then add half a favorite dog. Into the valley goes diced onions, then a sliced 1/2 dog and then topped with a delicious knock off of Varsity Club Atlanta chili dog sauce!

  • For those in the Northern Virginia, Maryland or DC area, try to get some No. 1 Sons Sauerkraut.  Best I have ever eaten.  Here's a link to locations:  http://number1sons.com/

Dogs are an all-time Summer favorite. Great choice to kickoff the weekend most people view as the end of summer. :plus_one:

Seeing those spiral cuts reminds me of Jerry's Dogs in SoCal. Best hotdog restaurant ever. Anybody in the OC and San Diego area should definitely put this wood-fired dog place on your list of places to eat. @SoCalTim, this place isn't too far from Angel Stadium.

I'm going out tomorrow and get a pack of KOSHER dogs.    And some BACON.

The onion / mustard / cheese ones are making me hungry right NOW.
Add some Dill Pickel (not that relish stuff)…..real slices or even a 'wedge' and call it even!

If you ever find Zweigels (Wegmans country), the pop-open hots are awesome.

Mustard, onion, cheese, and chili is my ultimate dog treat ;)
