1st Smoke ever...pastrami!

So, this was my first smoke EVER. I was pretty happy with my temp control, kept 225 pretty constant, but would spike to 245 here or there and then go down....I'm assuming the spike was due to the Cherry wood chunks igniting here and there.
Total time was, I think about 12 hours for a 4 lb corned beef brisket. I say "I think" because I got a bit hammered towards the end and can't recall when I pulled it out of the egg.
Funny story...in the morning I awoke in a panic thinking I had left it in the egg overnight...TOTALLY forgetting I took it out after it reached 199 and...wait for it...even had a few slices (good thing I took pics too).

Good thing I found out about "the stall". I stalled around 144 - 150 for about 5-6 hours. I would have freaked if I hadn't found out about this phenomenon earlier that dayLBGE in Northern VA
