XL extended grid

I fabricated an extended grid for my XL. Raises and lowers the grid level about 3".
Made with1/4"SS rod.
I am using it raised tonight for pizza and then tomorrow reverse sear steak.
Sunday will be raised direct with a spatched chicken.

    Your products gave me the direction I needed, to make mine. I had the equipment at work to fabricate it.
    I like making my own stuff and saving some coin too.  =)

    no problem on my end.....watch the crosswires when close to the heat, they could sag.  also, crosswires can get rusty if you do reverse sear often.  one reason I don't make one with a grid that flips........
