Question about hinge bolt issue!

I noticed that my LBGE has a lot of play (bolt rocking) on the left side when opening and closing the lid! I tightened it down a bit but then lid is hard to open and close so I loosened it back. Is this normal or have I lost something to stabilize the bolt? Don't want a situation where my bolt shears during a cook! I took a video but can't figure out how to post it keeps telling me it's too large to include! Any thoughts?

There is always a little play in the bolts. You want it tight enough to hold stable but not too tight to cause tension and the lid to stick.

I had this problem on my small, the bolt was bent, so I replaced it, and the problem was solved...Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.
