... My 11yr anniversary is on Friday and my wife surprised me a couple days early with a gift... A MiniMax!... Wow I was speechless! Last yr for our 10yr she got me a XL and we love it. Been talking about the MM and how it would be great for the weekdays, small cooks, etc...
Some observations:
1). The hinge on the MM is way more beefier than the hinges on my XL. BGE should incorporate these hinges on the XL and other sizes as well.
2) the lower vent door doesn't have a good seal as the vent door on the XL. Some others have mentioned this about their MM as well. I'll have to rework it sometime in the future.
3) The rubber on the feet aren't too good, I already tore one.
Anyways, I had to fire it up, so grilled some hot links and prawns.
The next night grilled some salmon, corn asparagus and made fried rice withe the leftover hot links from the night before.
My wife calls it "the gift that keeps on giving!"

Excellent. Congrats on the upcoming Anniversary.
I have the same setup, an XL and a Mini Max. The draft door is the same way on my Mini Max. I was just messing with it last night during a cook. I'd be curious as to what mod you make to yours.
