Lemon salt and pepper on ribs?

Anyone ever due a simple salt and pepper rib with lemon? Remember having pork prepared like this in Italy. Thx

I've done plain S&P for ribs, worked fine. I'm told there's an area of Greece where everything gets cooked w. lemon. I've put some orange peel on my ribs, and pineapple is pretty standard w. pork. I've seen jerk sauce recipes w. lime juice in it. Seems to me like a good combo.

Thx. trying it this afternoon. going to use sea salt, pepper, and lemon. thought about wrapping ribs with lemon juice then using the liquid in bbq sauce. finding i am not crazy about rub-smoke-sauce together.BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500. Obsessed with rotisserie.

best lamb we ever had was roasted over open fire in Greece. Little place in Corinth Greece. Brought us fresh roast lamb and greek salad on butcher paper. we watched them cut the lamb off the spit. it was amazing.BGE Large and MiniMax, Napolean 500. Obsessed with rotisserie.

I think for a 1st attempt, I'd just use a touch of the lemon juice because by itself it will "cook" the meat a little. I suspect that a period in foil might make the meat surface sort of mushy because of the acid reaction.

I don't usually spritz ribs at all, but this might be a good way to get lemon on the ribs - either straight lemon juice or cut it a little with something.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER
