Boston Butt Recipe

We just recently got A Big Grreen Egg. It is amazing but I want to get more recipes than the book that comes with the cooker. Looking for a Boston Butt recipe. Can anyone help me? I've only seen a couple but they had someone's special marinade.[p]Thanks

<p />DG4AU,[p]Boy are you in for a treat! I used Elder Ward's recipe for my first butt. I found the brine step was a little salty for me and have learned I can have a moist, flavorfull result without it. If you do not have a BBQ Guru, make sure you follow his instructions for building a fire![p]The main thing about butts is indirect cooking at a grid temperature of 235-250. (I do not put any fluid in my drip pan.) They generally take 2 hours per pound for a bone in butt. So, most of these cooks will span sleeping time. If you don't have one, get a wireless Maverick Redicheck Smoker Thermometer.[p]Making a good vinegar BBQ sauce with a little Bone Suckin' sauce makes a great addition too.
