Pulled Pork Lasagna.....

A day late on posting this cook.
It began as another classic pulled pork cook and midway through I went Italian BBQ !

This was the final product ; Cherry smoked pulled pork lasagna with garlic twists.
Your classic lasagna recipe with cherry smoked pulled pork as the protein.
Cooked on the egg at 350 covered for 45 minutes then uncovered and topped with that last layer of cheddar/mozzarella and oregano for the last 15 minutes.

No tomato sauce just layers of diced tomatoes mixed with bbq sauce. A layer of the noodles ( boiled or the ready made ones) , a layer of ricotta and two eggs mixed together with my seasoning and a layer of cheddar and mozzarella mixed. Repeat then put on egg at 30 covered with foil for 45 minutes. Then uncover for last 15 minutes and top with last layer of the cheese mixture. You have to let set for about 20 minutes to get it to cut nice and even.Wolfpack said:How was it? Did you mix pork and tomato sauce or leave as is? Sounds really good.Living The Big Green Egg Life...

Nice touch on lasagne!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan
