Sorry in advance to those that wear protective Eyewear while grilling, but I saw these at World Market and thought it was pretty funny. I was going to get them but they don't match my grilling helmet.

Ok, I get smoke, maybe spatter (if you really need to get a close look at the meat on the grill), but harsh vapors...are you grilling used oil filters?

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten!
Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing! -
I can see you using them if you use Royal Oak.George Foreman? Who?Tim C. Panama City, Fl.Large, Minimax-soon

Maybe it's just the angle of your picture, but those look evil or with an attitude! Either way they are a hoot for sure! Though I would never buy/wear them I do admit being an eye glass wearer in order to see you might be surprised how filthy and spattered my glasses get from even simple cooks on the egg! Plus the longer the cook the more grease build up! At least my glasses keep that film off my eyeballs!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!

I live in the strange world known as California. Regulations dictate that we are safe from EVERYTHING...even ourselves.
I think this is the recommended dress for grilling safely...San Diego, CA - Where I've mastered Curmudgeon..working on Recluse. -
Not ashamed to admit that I wear a pair of pink glasses I found at Bed Bath and Beyond, when chopping onions, etc. they work great!Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.

Onion Goggles are "da bomb"! These look an awful lot like them. Can't be beat if you happen to get a particularly aromatic onion.A poor widows son.

I'm usually wearing Beer Goggles while egging. Perhaps not as safe as these, but way more fun!Flint, Michigan

I have feeling these may turn up on the useless accessory thread.
