I finally put my 1st piece of steak on the bge and I was amazed it only took 6 minutes total cook time. 2 min on each side and then shut it down and let it rest in the egg for 2 more minutes. Im glad I invested in buying one of these. I just can't wait to start doing some of the big smokes.

Just an observation. Recommend a table nest for an air gap between the base and the table. The paver over time will allow heat to damage your table which could become a hazardous situation.

Great steak!
agree with Blake. Air gap. $30 is cheap insurance. My table was changing color under the paver in just 3 months! -
You see that stamped (serial number) there behind your steak? If you haven't already write that down before it goes black and register your egg. Food for thought. :-)Brandon, MS

Remember to burp that egg when doing steak that way. Looks great... Except the truck...
