If you like spicy, Walkerswood or Grace jerk seasoning (the hot versions, not mild). Rub it on and wait at least two hours, then 400° raised direct. Delicious!
EDIT, the mild tastes ok, it just has no kick.
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

People seem to really like allegro hot and spicy... I have some in the cabinet, but haven't tried it yet.

Sometimes I'll go with Italian Dressing for a couple of hours and then finish with bbq sauce.

I've never tried this on legs, but my wife and I love this on thighs, so I'd think it'd work the same. I got this from this forum, I think, years ago when it was still the original version, from "Bear 007 -- Tim, Presque Isle, ME":
Grilled Lemon Tarragon Chicken Thighs
1 lb. Chicken Thighs
1/6 cup Lemon Juice
1 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp. Smoked Paprika
1/2 tbsp. Tarragon
1 tbsp. Garlic minced
1/2 tbsp. salt Kosher
Skin and Bone the Chicken Thighs. Marinate 30 min. to an hour. Grill direct at 400 or higher to 165-170 internal temp.
It's important to trim off as much fat as possible to avoid unpleasant flare-ups and chicken fat smoke. -
I like to take a sharp knife and put 3 deep cuts in the leg before marinating. Then use a gallon bag and do either allegro hot and spicy or any of the grill mates dry packs u mix up are pretty good. Go about 375-400 raised for 30-40 mins. Good stuff
