couple of pizzas constructed by the wife and kids. One with onion, mushroom and mozzarella. The second utilizing our leftover pork tenderloin with BBQ sauce for base. Just a ho hum Sunday night. Easy on me. Oldest daughter gave them thumbs up.

Personally, I think the odd-shaped pies look cool. However, if you decide you want round, you have to start with a round dough ball. Like this...

Then shape the pie like this-

And you don't need cornmeal (or whatever that is) on your pizza stone, just on the peel.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Not even close to your pies, but we had fun and they were pretty good. Thanks BrandonFocker said:Nothing better than pie night with the fam. Looks great bud. -
A thumbs up, and smile like that, is all that matters at the end of the day.BrandonQuad Cities

Yep, the smile says it all.
Got to ask though ... why raise the pizza stone off the grill with the feet? The first pizza we cooked was was on the back side of the plate setter ... nothing else. It was great. Haven't been able to replicate it ...

Thanks Tom. IDK why I used the feet. I guess I keep hearing about raising the up in the dome so I raised them what, an inch or so. Not sure it helped, but it didn't hurt. I usually just put the stone on the grate. I used to do legs down with feet. I am no pizza eggspert. @Focker is on the other hand what I would call an eggspert pie maker.Jeepster47 said:Yep, the smile says it all.
