Ask alone this weekend, my family went to the beach.
Went to Costco and picked up a couple of prime ribeyes. One for today and tomorrow.
My plan was reverse sear indirect 250* on the large to internal 110* on my lg. bge
Then sear at nuke temp on my med egg.
It worked for the most part. The slow part went perfect.
But the sear....way too hot! and tongs too short. Had big time trouble flipping and removing steak from so low in the bottom of egg.

It's not showing in the picture but the underside of the steak is black as coal. Also a little over.
Took me a good minute to get it on the plate when I went to remove it.

It was good. But very disappointed.
Tomorrow I'll use the cast iron skillet on the med. At normal Grill level.

You gotta admit it looks good though.
