More General Tso Pork on the Mini

Dipped some cubed pork loin in egg wash and coated it in a flour / panko / seasoned salt mixture. Fried up in a CI skillet on the Mini BGE for a few minutes at 350/375ish f oil temp. Tossed in store bought General Tso Sauce at the end. Served with some Fried Brown Rice that the Mrs made. Better than takeout!

OH. HELL. YEAH..
Id tear that up! -
You are braver then I. I put oil in the cast iron to Brown something and get scared I'm going to light a pyre fire. Looks damn good. Nicely done!I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Thx guys! @Scottborasjr , that was the Mini egg and the lips of the CI skillet extend past the grate of the mini. Very minimal chance that the grease could reach the flames. It's the same concept as frying inside on a gas burner. And I always keep a keen eye on the oil temp with the thermapen. And keep a fire extinguisher with arms reach.

My goodness gracious that looks good!!!
You are really trying to get in my wallet

LOL @DMW . I've used my eggs 5+ times per week for the past several years and documented most of the cooks. Even helped sell dozens upon dozens, and have spent thousands of dollars in my own money cooking at eggfests, eggtoberfests and local store cooks just for the enjoyment of sharing my passion for the product and hanging out with all of you that have the same interest. Y'all are a great group of people. But BGE still hasn't even offered up a sponsorship! LOL.

I have a friend that asked his daughter when she and her live in boyfriend were getting married. She said he really didn't want to get married right now. He told her "you know the old saying; why buy the cow when you can get the milk free?" She said, "there's another saying, Daddy, "why buy the hog when you can get the sausage free?"Legume said:Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. -
