- Doing my old standby smoke roasted chicken breasts with my home made chicken rub. My better half threw me a curveball though. . . She had bought a bag of sweet potatoes and suggested that we smoke roast them all and then use that smokey goodness for sweet potato pie. I love sweet potato pie but it is a rare treat for me so I could not say no to that. She is out at the store now getting the last ingredients for the pie. The early stage pics are below along with a pic of my egg in his natural green habitat. Finished pics to come. I am looking forward to this!

Lovely evening pescasorzih.
Chicken turned out great! I decided to try making a Big Bob Gibson style white sauce that went really well with the bird. Also had a baked tater and salad. It was my best chicken in a while according to my better half and my son did not seem to mind either, although neither liked the white sauce.
Then my better half got to work on the sweet potato pie. It is off the egg and cooling now. My better half even got B&J ice cream to go with it. Great food and now watching a movie with the fam. It's a real good night.
