Will miss my egg

We are heading for a week of rest, relaxation, and fun times in the Colorado Rockies. My family and I will miss my BGE while we are away. However, there is supposed to be a gasser at the place we're staying. I have packed some filets and some burgers. Won't be the same not cooked on my egg at home, but it should be good eats just the same.

    What are you talking about...I will miss my egg crap. You are going to Colorado for vacation!!! Um....1of only 2 states where you can toke legally....dude have a blast and smoke one for me.

    I'm getting ready to be away for 2 weeks - one week in Dallas and a second in Denver. I won't be thinking about my egg at all!

    Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

    I'm all in with @TexanOfTheNorth-as the late great Leroy "Satchel" Paige said-"Don't look back, somethin might be gainin on ya."  Enjoy the vacation.  The BGE (like your house) will be there when you return.  FWIW-
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    You think that's bad?  I'm moving to AL tomorrow, but my family won't be moving until later this year, possibly another 3 or 4 months.  I'll be staying in an extended stay hotel with no egg.  My small and large will be back home in FL without me!  Dammit!

    Just pick you up some of those medicimal thin mints. You will get by just fine on the gasser.

    lol I read your post two ways.  

    Are you saying he should be missing his wife more than the egg?  Or, are you saying now that he is free of said wife he should be off having fun with no time to egg anyway?

    Sort of like:

    I like to eat, grandma.  vs. I like to eat grandma.

    Love my wife to death, 35 years, 3 great kids and 1 beautiful granddaughter, but I would kill to get a week alone. Any more than that and I would have to get her home....you know laundry and dishes and stuff!

    Heck my neighbor has a  large in cedar table and he mostly uses his gaser on back deck most of the time. I got rid of my gaser because it was old and I didn't want to deal with gas anymore.   The only gaser I will ever but again will be a Blackstone Grill but for a week you will make it.  You should still be able to cook good food.
