I received this thing for a birthday gift.  I don't really see the use in it, as I've been making calzone for 20 yrs now.  Anybody use one?  Should I try to return to local dealer?

    Well I would say you should keep it for a re-gift opportunity. After all, it is one of the more affordable accessories that BGE offers with their name on it.
