MM loaded up with RW and lit.
Picked up a new CI grid for the MM yesterday. I have one on the LBGE and love it so I thought...why not. Works great. First up some foiled pockets. One with 5 ears of corn on the cob and one with several sliced russets, slices Vidalia onions, Datil peppers, EVOO and @MeatChurch Honey Hog Hot.  Put both on at the same time and barely cleared the dome. But, it did clear it.

Ribeyes were dry brined about 2 hrs»»» very coarse kosher salt, fresh rosemary & fresh thyme. Quickly brushed off the excess before going on the grid.

Husked the corn and hit them super quick on the grid & plated.

That mini max sure looks sweet. I have never really wanted a egg smaller than large, however the mini sure has me interested.

What did you do to raise your grate so high?

@SoCalTim rather than placing the WOO legs into the depressions of the fire ring I put then atop. Works great for raised direct.  Drop it down and it's a searing animal.

Damn, man that looks good. Got a couple of extra ten year olds in the house tonight after a baseball game so no cook for me.  Tomorrow me and the boys will put ribs on as soon as I get off of work.

    Nicely Done as always Blake.

Cast Iron sure turns out some purdy steaks. Nice cook.

I Just got my Woo combo Monday. I love the ability to spin the grate when it's sitting on the Woo.

My my stone was cracked out of the box so I haven't got to go indirect yet. I did however set the stone in it and dream about using it. Lol. @NPHuskerFL, the Woo/ stone combo seems like it's going to restrict airflow a lot. Any problems cooking at 400° with a stock fire grate when using the Woo Combo?

@stemc33 No even cooking indirect using the WOO combo 400℉ wasn't hard to overcome with the stock fire grate. I will say I can see the temp getting there slightly faster using a KAB or a highque, etc.

Thanks. I got an email yesterday telling me they're  sending a new stone. I'm not sure if I need to send the cracked one back so I haven't used it.

The drip pan that comes with it seems to nice to use in a BBQ.
