Have a church picnic today, and put 50 pounds of pork butts on one rack. Going turbo this time around these butts are 12 lbs each. Big thanks to @RRP for helping with temp and timing on the egg. I've always done a " hybrid"method cooking at 275. Injected these with some apple juice and vinegar-based sauce rubbed them down and on they went . Finished photos to come. My friend is cooking the other 50lbs on his egg today as well

Looks good. You may want to consider covering your platesetter with foil or a drip pan. Burned drippings don't smell pleasant.Marietta, East Cobb, GA

LOL - what time did you say the picnic starts? I don't want to be late!Re-gasketing America one yard at a time.

eating at 6p @RRP hope you can make it it's only a few hundred miles.
@brianwdmn I normally put one of the foil pans down but this time I purchased the wrong size. Figured just run naked. Then I'll do a clean burn this week sometime.

Well only took photos of 2 of the butts. We ended up with about 150 people, with a good mix of ages. All 100lbs of pork went and so did about 80 hotdogs.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

Nice! Did you pull by hand or use a kitchenaid? They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That's against their interests. - George Carlin

@Ozzie_Isaac pulled all of it by hand, with my trusty meat claws. I've never tried using the kitchenaid.XL BGE, KJ classic, Joe Jr, UDS x2

OMG! FIFTY (50) POUNDS?
I won't use foil on my plate setter. I'm scared of aluminum that CAN get that hot and potentially vaporize.
I'd do a nuke cook and clean the whole thing. My firebox is new looking as is the Fire-Side of my 'setter after cranking it up for PIZZA. -
Must of been some really hungry people or some really good pork. Either way you conquered. Well done.Steven
