Thanks guys first of all my XL BGE cooks great. The Komodo is a Ferrari of kamados its all tweaked and modified. What could be improved is improved. The thread still has merit. Until now, I didn't know that there were two different companies selling that style (tile skinned) komado. The one you listed sells for maybe double the asking price, and the one that's not(?) ugly sells for much, much more. That one I've seen in a store in Chandler, AZ, and it looks much better in person than in the pictures.

One of our forum members recently bought one ... embarrassed that I can't remember who.
