Cook it hotter and it won't take so long. The meat doesn't know the size of the egg, so either one you can hold the temp on.

I'd use the LBGE for the L&S and the SBGE for the apps and sides.

I can get about 9-10hrs of 275 out of my small. If you are truly cooking at low enough temps to need 18 hrs I would use the large.  I personally can't see it taking that long   The last butt I did was 10lbs & I cooked at 280ish and it was done in about 1hr per lb.

If you can get away with an 18 hour cook on your SBGE, go for it.  But history will likely show that to get that kind of cook time w/o food moves and lump recharges will only happen with the LBGE.
Now you didn't mention cook temp so you may be able to turbo that pork on the SBGE but it could be big stretch.  FWIW-

Along with the turbo suggestion from @lousubcap you could split it in half and reduce your cooking time and I feel with the right temp and lump you could easily do that in your small

    Turbo is considered 350°.

+1 with what NPHusker said. The good thing in your case is if the small falls short you can finish on the large. I've read some posts where people finish in the oven when they fall short. Hopefully someone that routinely does long slow cooks on a small will chime in.
