Small Butt

I have a 3 1/2 pound bone in Butt that I plan on smoking at 250 indirect. Will this take 5 to 6 hours until the bone wiggles free I plan on pulling when it does and assume it will be 200/203 I have never cooked one this small and was looking for input. I normally do two 8/9 pounders and it often smokes at 2 hours a pound.
Thanks

I would think time wise more along the 6 - 8 hour mark but yeah it should be the same as doing an 8/9 pounder just quicker due to size.

Chuck, I did two that size last night. Rolled at 350 one took 4hrs one took almost 5 and could have gone a little longer. They're all a little different, but I'd think at 250, they'd take closer to 7.

Btw, these were the first I've turboed and the parts that accidentally fell into my mouth at 11 PM were fantastic. Maybe I was hungry.

Thanks! I'm rocking 275 dome with 3 racks of back ribs that will be foiled and brought back to life on Sunday. Things look great! This is 3 hours into the cook.
