Get one from an Eggfest as a demo.  Still get full warranty.

I have checked for him on a couple upcoming Eggfests near us, but a new one was less expensive from my dealer.  He will probably buy from my dealer, but, can't blame him for shopping around.

    Thanks,

    DD

If he can get one cheaper than an eggfest he better jump on it. Plus the XL won't be any cheaper if something cracks on it. I was with a friend of mine and his XL base cracked right in front of us.  If he didn't have the warranty the base alone is probably pushing $600. Unless your buddy can find something under $600 I'd go new with a XL

I plan on living a long time so buying new with the warranty is the only way to go.

Update on my new Egghead friend....He bought a large (new ).

He sent me a pic with it in the front passenger seat of his car (with seat belt in tact) and his wife was in the backseat steadying it with her hand !!!

He sent me a text a few hours later and said "I think I have eaten the most delicious, most moist chicken breast that I've ever put in my mouth!!!"  !!!!

    Yep, eggdicted already !!
